Residential Programs

ACTIVITIES

Residence Life Staff, consisting of the Resident Director, Assistant Resident Director, and Resident Assistants  coordinates the social, educational, recreational and cultural programs for Family Housing. The staff is eager to provide activities that help provide a community environment within Canyon Crest Family Student Housing. Events are scheduled throughout each quarter and may include the following:

• Ice Cream Socials

• Good Neighbor Relations

• Story Hour 

• Crafts and After School Activities

• Movie Outings

• Theme/Holiday Parties

• Car Seat Installation

• Local Area Trips

DISPLAY/BULLETIN BOARDS

There is a bulletin board located in the Laundry Room and at each mailbox location of the Family Housing complex:

All postings must be approved through the Crest Resident Services Office. Postings are considered expired 30 days after the date of approval and will be removed from display/bulletin boards.

NEWSLETTERS

The Canyon Crest Family Student Housing newsletter, “The Crier”, is published monthly. This newsletter is provided for the purpose of announcing events, policies, programs, and activities, as well as other informational items, which may be of interest to Residents. The newsletter is not intended as a forum for pro or con opinion on various items of concern. If you wish to submit an article for publication, contact the Community Director at the Crest Resident Services Office.

STUDENT COMMITTEES

Canyon Crest Family Housing will create student committees based on resident input at the beginning of the year. For more information or to submit ideas contact the ARD at (951) 827.2083.
