Satellite Dish and Antenna Installation Guidelines

1. Residents must complete the Satellite Dish or Antenna Installation Request prior to the installation of the equipment.

2. Satellite dish and antenna installations must be completed according to Campus Apartments Maintenance & Grounds specifications.

3. The Maintenance Supervisor must approve location of the satellite dish or antenna prior to installation.

4. The satellite dish or antenna must be installed on the eves/fascia board of the unit.

5. No installation may be done on the roof.

6. *Any damages incurred from satellite dish or antenna installations and/or removal will result in charges to the resident.

7. Apartment Contract item 14(d) states: “Television and radio antennas are not to be affixed to any part of the exterior of the premises.”

8. Please note that units in Crest Family Housing do have lead and asbestos materials. Please do not drill holes in floors, walls or stucco of your unit. For further explanations regarding this issue please refer to the letter in your move-in packet.

9. If a new hole is needed please contact the Crest Resident Services Office at 951.827.2083 to schedule an appointment for a member of the maintenance staff to drill the hole.

Residents in violation of the policy will be notified in writing and allowed five (5) business days to remove the satellite dish or antenna, which has been documented as being improperly installed. At the end of the five (5) day period, the location will be inspected and Campus Apartments will repair any remaining damages and resident(s) will be charged accordingly.

*Labor costs are based on $20.00 per hour to include a $5.00 minimum charge.
