University policy states that solicitation of any kind is not permitted. If a solicitor comes to your door:

1. Do not open your door.

2. Tell the person to leave.

3. Call the University Police at (951) 827.5222 with an accurate description.

4. Notify the Resident Services Office at (951) 827.2083 during business hours and call the RA cell in the evening, weekends, and holidays at (951) 961-0274.

Solicitors often times are casing out the area, and quite possibly your home, in order to return at a later date to break in.
